The article I was reading in Housing Association Magazine a little while ago, that I wrote about in my last post, went into a bit of detail about Heatrae Sadia electric boilers and this one of the most popular makes we install.
The article talked about how slim in design the boilers are and how they offer a consistent 99.8% efficiency at point of use.
Jon Cockburn of Heatrae Sadia was quoted as saying: “One of the main advancements in the industry has been the introduction of electric wet central heating flow boilers. Used in conjunction with conventional wet radiators or underfloor heating systems, electric wet central heating boilers provide central heating on demand, when it’s actually needed, being controlled and operated by a programmer and thermostat, and working in a similar way to a gas fired boiler. Our Amptec electric boiler even modulates in the same way as a gas boiler, improving running efficiency.
“Electric boilers can be teamed with direct hot water cylinders: a high-performance unvented cylinder such as Megaflo Eco will provide the customer with powerful showers and fast filling baths. Furthermore the boilers are usually compact and wall hung, and also very efficient; Amptec, for example, offers 99.8 per cent efficiency.”
Electric Boilers Address all the Issues
The article was focused on heating solutions for tower blocks and said that reliability and performance are always a high priority for social housing providers. Also the fact that it can sometimes be difficult to access properties to carry out annual safety inspections, with tenants not always cooperative, can be an issue. Luckily with electric boilers none of these factors pose a problem.
We do like Heatrae Sadia electric boilers. The quality is exceptional and the life expectancy very long thanks to the way they are made and designed to function.
