Responsibilities of the Customer
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure before placing the order that the goods are of a suitable size for the intended location and also that the goods can be delivered without issue with a clear and safe path.
Goods that cannot be delivered due to accessibility or safety issues or that do not fit the intended site will not be refunded and a delivery charge may apply.
Selectric Heating will not be held responsible for any damage to property or to the goods being delivered if a clear path to the delivery site is not provided.
Customers should note that Selectric Heating and their delivery agents are not responsible for moving or dismantling fixtures, fittings or furniture to allow for delivery.
Customers with any concerns over delivery, space, accessibility and / or safety should contact Selectric Heating in advance to discuss any potential issues.
Defects & Damage
On delivery it is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods for defects or damage. We cannot accept responsibility for any defects or damage once the goods have been signed for as satisfactory. If a third party is appointed to accept delivery then it will be their responsibility to inspect the goods on the customer’s behalf. Please note that the person inspecting and signing for the goods must be an adult aged 18 years or over otherwise we will not be able to deliver the goods and a delivery charge may apply.
If defects or damage are notified then Selectric Heating will do everything possible to rectify the issue as soon as possible. This may involve an exchange or a refund and collection of the defective/damaged goods at no cost to the customer. Once any issues have been notified we do not remain liable for replacement or refund if the customer continues to use the goods or attempts to repair them.
In line with the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order within 14 days. In circumstances other than where goods are damaged or defective, if you decide to return your order then you will be required to cover the shipping cost of the return.
Boilers or accessories that have undergone installation cannot be returned.
Cost of Goods
The prices quoted are for the goods stated only and do not include installation.

Please be aware that no official documentation, such as installation certificates, warranties, guarantees, etc. will be handed over until payment is received in full.
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses and normally takes around 4-5 working days.
